Field Days

Restore your energy, clear your head and get unstuck.

A full-day walking and coaching experience in the ancient New Forest for senior professionals who need to step away from the noise, breathe deeply and reset.

Wednesday 8th July, New Forest, Hampshire

Life is Loud. You just need a day to breathe.

What we hear from senior leaders, over and over, is the same thing: they don't need reinvention, they just want space to pause, take a breath, reset and get back to leading the life they worked hard to build.

Crafted Leader Field Days are built to address that exact need. Instead of the standard corporate away day with personality tests and cheesy team building exercises, Field Days are about nourishing you from the inside out.

Set in the ancient New Forest, Hampshire, these experiences are intentionally crafted to restore your energy, declutter your mind and reset your nervous system — through Nature, Movement, Community and Presence — and the radical discovery that slowing down is the fastest way back to your best.

Away from the manmade. Disconnected from the digital. Allow the restorative woodland to wash away stress and overwhelm. You arrive with a head full of noise. You leave with the kind of expansive perspective that only nature can provide.

We walk slowly. We talk honestly. We let things surface.

The most useful day you'll give yourself this year.

What Makes This Different

A Field Day isn't coaching with a walk added in. It's a fully integrated experience where the forest, the movement, the group, and the coaching all work harmoniously.

  • Ancient woodland, not a conference room: The environment does as much work as the coaching.

  • Small group (max. 10 people): Intimate enough to feel safe. Diverse enough to feel seen.

  • Hands and head: Every participant gets a woodcarving knife and a piece of wood from the forest floor. It does something that sitting still never quite manages.

  • Zero forced vulnerability: No pressure to perform. You show up exactly as you are.

  • Slow Coaching methodology: This isn't a walk with some questions thrown in. It's a carefully developed process designed to create the conditions for real insight to arrive.

  • A proper pub lunch: In the heart of the New Forest. Because slowing down should include good food.

What You’ll Experience

  • Walking slowly in ancient woodland: When you move your body through a landscape like this, something shifts. The noise quiets. Things start to arrive.

  • Honest group conversation: A small group of senior professionals, all there for the same reason. No forced vulnerability, just real conversation in a safe space.

  • A woodcarving knife and a piece of forest wood: Something to do with your hands while the big stuff percolates. Keeping the conscious mind occupied so your unconscious can do it’s work.

  • Facilitated coaching: Open questions and guided reflection to help you access clarity you haven't been able to reach in everyday life.

  • Pub lunch included: A proper lunch in the New Forest. Because slowing down should include good food.

  • “I can’t think of another space in my life I’d be able to share in this way.”

    Gareth P - CIO/ IT Director

  • “This process has taught me that I can just be myself and that that’s okay.”

Simon C - Employment Law Solicitor

  •  "It's given me a different perspective. A perspective that I needed, which I didn't think I was able to find."

    Matt C - Brand Manager

  • “Focus on the now… it’s something I’ve forgotten how to do, but now I’ve been reminded.”

Dan B - Chief Strategy Officer

How It Transforms

There's something about moving slowly through ancient woodland — away from the noise, the notifications and the relentless pace of it all — that bypasses the defences and gets straight to what actually matters.

You don't need to analyse yourself. You don't need to have the answers before you arrive. You just need to show up

As you walk, something shifts. Your hands are busy, your conscious mind quiets and the things you came to figure out start to arrive on their own. Things surface that the noise of everyday life keeps buried. Conversations happen that wouldn't happen anywhere else, honest, natural, no performance required.

By the end of the day you'll have:

  • Clarity on what's been circling that you haven't been able to name

  • Perspective on the life you've built and where you want to take it

  • Energy that comes from finally stopping long enough to breathe

  • Connection with a small group of people who genuinely get it

You won't leave fixed. You'll leave free enough to fix it yourself.

What It Provides

  • A full reset from the pace of it all: A rare day with no decisions to make, no roles to play, and nothing to hold together.

  • Restored energy and perspective: Fresh eyes on the life you worked hard to build.

  • Clarity on what needs to happen next: Insight that's been sitting just below the surface, waiting for the noise to stop.

  • The feeling of being yourself again: Not fixed. Not transformed overnight. Just back to being the author of your own story.

About Your Facilitators

I'm a coaching psychologist, counsellor and leadership coach with two MScs, an ICF ACC credential and an Executive Coaching certification. Before I retrained, I spent years in senior corporate marketing, which means I know exactly what the world my clients are navigating feels like from the inside.

But honestly, the credentials aren't why people trust me. They trust me because I'm also a dad of two young kids trying to figure it all out, a guitar player, a budding artisan woodworker who makes mallets with hand tools, a foodie, coffee snob and partial to the winter sea-dip. I fundamentally believe that the best conversations happen when you slow down long enough to have them.

I built the Crafted Leader Reset — a three-day woodworking/ coaching retreat for senior men — after seeing what happened when I combined coaching with craft and nature. People arrived stressed and left themselves again. I wanted more people to have access to that.

Field Days is the simpler, more accessible version of that same idea. One day. Ancient woodland. A small group of people who are ready to be honest about where they're at.

I'll be with you every step of the way. Literally.

Ciarán Henderson

I've spent the last 16 years creating the conditions for professionals to show up more honestly - in rooms, in teams, and in front of my camera.

As a CPCC accredited coach and ORSC practitioner, with over 3,500 hours of coaching and facilitation experience, I work at the intersection of courage, presence and authenticity. My approach is rooted in a methodology I call Surfacing - creating the conditions for an individual or a team's truth to emerge, whether that's in a workshop, a portrait session, or walking slowly through ancient woodland.

The philosophy is always the same: help people feel safe, seen and unhurried - and something real begins to surface.

I'm also an experience designer with a track record of creating bespoke workshops, team coaching experiences and online courses - environments where people feel safe enough to thrive, and present enough to surface.

I've also blended these skills with brand photography for purpose-driven professionals - a natural visual extension of the same work. When you create the right conditions and people feel genuinely safe, they reveal their true nature. And those are the images that stop people in their tracks.
